What AurariaGO does
AurariaGO is the student community for the Auraria Campus: post and browse campus events, share on the student feed, and speak freely on the anonymous board — all students-only, verified by school email from CU Denver, MSU Denver, or CCD. The app also includes the campus map, walking routes, class reminders, and offline Campus Assistant it started with — now optional features that need no account at all.

Common questions
My reminders aren't arriving.
Reminders are local notifications, so they need notification permission. On iPhone, open Settings › Notifications › AurariaGO and turn on Allow Notifications. On Android, open Settings › Apps › AurariaGO › Notifications. Reminders only fire for classes later today, and only on weekdays.
Why doesn't the app know where I am?
By design. AurariaGO never asks for location access. Instead you tap "You're at" in the bottom sheet and pick your current building, and the route is drawn from there. This keeps the app completely private and lets it work with no signal inside buildings.
A building or campus detail is wrong or out of date.
Campus information — parking rates, library hours, dining locations — is compiled from public campus sources and can change between semesters. If you spot something wrong, email us and we'll correct it in the next update.
Can I add a class that meets on several days?
Yes. Add the class to each day it meets from the "Your week" editor, or use the repeat options when creating it.
Is my schedule backed up anywhere?
No. Your schedule is stored only on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. (Things you post in the Community are different — they live on our servers so other students can see them, until you delete them.)
What is the Community tab?
New in 2.0. Three sections: Events (block parties, club nights, free food — with flyers), Posts (a campus feed with replies, likes, and profiles you can follow), and an Anonymous board (no names, upvotes and downvotes). Anyone can browse; posting requires verifying a student email from CU Denver, MSU Denver, or CCD. Your email is never shown to anyone — posts show only the handle you pick.
How anonymous is the Anonymous board?
No name, handle, or profile is ever attached to an anonymous post anywhere in the app. Behind the scenes our server does know which account posted — that link exists purely so we can remove abuse and ban repeat offenders, and moderators are the only ones who can see it. Someone posted something inappropriate.
Tap the ⋯ menu on the post and choose Report — reported content is reviewed within 24 hours, and content reported by three students hides automatically in the meantime. You can also Block the person (you'll never see their content again) or Hide the single post. Photos are additionally screened automatically the moment they're uploaded. How do I delete my Community account?
In the Community tab, tap the account icon (top right) › Delete account and my posts. That immediately removes your email, handle, and everything you've posted, including photos. There's no undo. Can't get into the app? See aurariago.com/delete-account.html for the email route.
Is this an official campus app?
No. AurariaGO is an independent app built by a CU Denver student. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Auraria Higher Education Center, the University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, or the Community College of Denver.
