In the app (fastest)
- Open AurariaGO and go to the Me tab.
- Tap the gear (Settings) at the top right.
- Under Account, tap Delete account and my posts, then confirm.
The same steps work on iPhone and Android. You'll be signed out as soon as it finishes.
By email
If you can't get into the app, email us from the school address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We verify that the request comes from that address and delete the account within 7 days, then confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in email and the account itself.
- Your handle, profile photo, bio, links, major, year, and privacy settings.
- Every post, reply, event and photo you created, including anonymous posts.
- Your likes, votes, RSVPs, follows, follow requests, and blocks.
- Your direct messages, on both sides of every conversation.
- Your notification device tokens.
What may remain
- Reports you filed about other people's content, and moderation records about content that was removed, kept without your handle so we can keep enforcing the rules.
- Server logs and database backups, which age out on their own within 30 days.
Your class schedule, chosen building, and app preferences were only ever stored on your phone. Deleting the app removes them.
Not sure yet?
Deleting single posts, events or messages is always available from the menu on each one. Signing out (Me › Settings › Sign out) keeps your account but removes it from that phone.
