The core app wants no account and no location — you tell it which building you're standing in, and that's the whole story. The optional Community tab is the one part that uses a server: verifying you're a student takes a school email, and what you post is stored so classmates can see it. Nothing is sold or tracked.

No name, handle, or profile is ever shown on an anonymous post — to anyone. Our server privately knows which account posted, purely so abuse can be removed and repeat offenders banned. Details in the privacy policy.
No. AurariaGO is independent, built by a CU Denver student. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Auraria Higher Education Center, CU Denver, MSU Denver, or CCD.
It doesn't guess — you pick your current building from a list, and the route is drawn from there. That keeps the app private and lets it work inside buildings where GPS is useless anyway.
